Chris Richbell

Chris paints mainly in watercolour or acrylic, and sometimes with mixed media or pastels.

She has exhibited at the Bankside Gallery London, The Chapel Gallery, The Courtyard Gallery, The Gallery D’Art Dartmouth, The Primrose Gallery, Alfred East Gallery, The Guildhall Gallery, Woburn Abbey, The Castle Wellingborough, Lamport Hall, and has had work accepted by the Royal Academy.
Private and corporate bodies including the Savoy Group have purchased her paintings.

She is a member and regular exhibitor with the Northamptonshire Town & County Art Society and has served previously as a council member. Chris also exhibits with the Northamptonshire Watercolour Group at various galleries.

She has won prizes locally and nationally and recently won two awards in the Royal Watercolour Society 21st Century Open Exhibition that lead to a very successful solo exhibition in London in May 2007.

Her main artistic influences are currently Turner, Piper and Vilhelm Hammershoi. Her current passion is the interplay of light and reflections.
